Terms & Conditions

All transactions via this web site are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before using this site.

General

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will become effective immediately.

Orders will be bound by the terms and conditions in operation at the time the order is placed.

All sizes, measurements and capacities are approximate though we have made them as accurate as possible.

As part of constant improvement specifications may be subject to modification without notice. Items may vary slightly from pictures.

Orders

Orders received via the web site will normally be processed and despatched within 3 working days subject to stock availability.

Delivery

Delivery will be made by carrier or post according to product. All express items require signature upon receipt. Should it not be possible for delivery to be made and you fail to contact the carrier for redelivery resulting in goods being returned to us re delivery charges may apply. A telephone number should be provided on your order is case of delivery issues.

Products will become your responsibility once they have been received by you, your agent or the intended recipient. Any loss or damage to the products will then be at your own risk.

Shortages and damages must be noted at the time of delivery.  If the number of parcels recieved is not correct or the boxes appear damaged this must be noted when signing for the consignment and advised to our office by email at customerservices@silverlineuk.co.uk or by telephone on 01805 804202 within 3 days of receipt.

Payment

Prices are in £ Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Delivery charges are extra and shown prior to checkout.

The price you pay is the price shown on the web site at time of order. In the unlikely event an error in pricing has occurred, we will advise you of the problem as soon as possible and if the item is no longer required a full refund will be made.

Payment is required with order. Payment can be made on the web site using Paypal or for telephone orders using a debit or credit card. To avoid any delay in processing your order please ensure sufficient funds are available in your account when using Paypal.

Title to products ordered will pass to you upon delivery of those products.

Returns/Cancellations

We supply high quality products and provide detailed product support to enable you the customer to choose the products most suited to your needs. Whilst we do not offer products on a trial basis we do understand there may be occasions when you need to exchange or return something you have purchased. We recommend you carefully check your items BEFORE they are installed and retain your receipt in case of any after sales queries.

Under distance selling regulations you have the right to return/cancel your order for goods within 7 days of receipt. This does not apply to items made to your specification or items that are designed to come into direct contact with water by reason of their nature, in which case only unopened, sealed items may be accepted. To return/cancel you must contact us, within 7 days, either in writing to our registered address or by email at customerservices@silverlineuk.co.uk to notify us of the cancellation and obtain a return slip. Returns can only be accepted with a valid return slip.

If you are returning a product for any reason except damage or manufacturing defect, charges for the delivery cost of the original item will not be refunded and you must pay the cost of returning the item to us or our suppliers.  Returned items must be in original packaging and in re-saleable condition.  Items returned may be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge.

Where any item is built to order it is the duty of the purchaser to ensure the working of the products meets the purpose intended. Any problems must be notified to us within 28 days of receipt. Delayed installation must be notified to us & agreed in writing. In the event that goods do not perform as expected liability of the company is restricted to refund of the cost of the goods. No liability for consequential loss or damage can be accepted.

Refunds 

Refunds will be processed within 30 days.  Paypal payments will be refunded to your Paypal account and credit/debit card payments returned to the card on which the payment was made.

Data

Your personal information will not be passed to any third party company by Silverline UK Ltd. The details will be held for delivery, accounting and customer service communications including filter replacement service and products/offers that may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive communications relating to Silverline products/offers please advise us by email at customerservices@silverlineuk.co.uk

Miscellaneous

The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and can be resolved in the English Courts. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.

If any part of these terms and conditions is held by any competent to be invalid or unenforceable the validity or enforceability of the remaining sections will remain unaffected.
